Feminine shapes and easily transforming clothes you already have

Howdy guys! So I wanted to make this post for a LONG time. I have so much to say about this. This post will be able things that I've personally discovered when transforming my own wardrobe.

Here's a male body/mannequin. Most men are straight up and down without much curve. I think the major secret to having clothing that will make your more masculine body appear more feminine is wearing things that would accentuate or add the impression of curves. I'm a little pudgy so i have a bit of a curve and I think i can get away with a lot more than the standard skinny kid.

So here's an average Tshirt. To me, this is a pretty unisex garmet. But I think the key is to not do something that's unisex but something that is feminine. Very rarely do i find myself happy with wearing a normal tshirt. Usually, what I do is turn my normal tshirts into over the shoulder shirts. The over the shoulder style is a style that is instantly feminine. rarely do you see a masculine man bearing shoulders. Because we associate bare shoulders with the female gender, the over the shoulder top is a great easy quick solution.

I made this little diagram. The top one, you simply cut around the collar. This cut is better for shirts that are larger. When cutting over the shoulder tops, it's important to take the size of the shirt into account. A larger shirt will have a larger hole. So keep that in mind when you cut. Wit the first cut, you have to pull it off your shoulder it doesn't naturally sit off the shoulder. This can be nice because it gives you options You can simply wear it as more opened collar or pull it off the shoulder.
The second cut is more loose and you usaully dont need to pull it off the shoulder. Make sure that it's not TOO far because the hole could be too large and your shirt will keep falling off.

This is SO easy. There's been plenty of days when i just cut a shirt to go with what i'm wearing that particular day.

I made this varriation one day :D

One of my favorite shirts is in this style. :)

Now if you still want to wear tshirts, I suggest wearing ones that have a more opened collar or longer shirts that hug the hips.

Now, if you're like me, you might have a bunch of large dress shirts just sitting in your closet.

They're long they're loose, you dont like how they fel and they're a shad too masculine for your taste. WELL, an easy solution is to JUST PUT A BELT ON IT. Adding a belt to a loose shirt adds more of a waist to what you're wearing. You have to put the belt on proper waist, which for most people is above the belly button. Once you do that you'll end up with something like:

I like the way this looks and feels. The belt can turn a normal, loose masculine feeling shirt into something that is almost like a little dress. lol Well at least that's how it feels.

Putting a belt over your newly cut over the shoulder tops can also prove to be quite fashionable. :D

When it comes to skirts, when looking around, i will often see CDs and -some- TS that wear something like this

To me, this is more masculine than anything else. It sits too low on the waist and accentuates the lack of curve of the body.

I've developed a strong appreciation for pencil skirts with large waiste bounds.

To me, they accentuate and add hips. I find with dresses and skirts I feel and look more feminien when the waist is higher.

:)

So I'll cut this short since i need to go to bed. lol. But Usually, I dress like..:

I think what I'm trying to say with this post and with this blog in general is that the power and ability to look and feel feminine CAN lye in the clothes that you already have. For some girls, feeling like a girl is more important than how fancy it is. I love my clothes becuase they mean something to me. I put my heart into it and the results make me smile. And I think that's important. right now i'm trying to rid myself of all my male clothes and only HAVE female clothes. it'll take some work but I'm willing to do it. If you're willing to as well, you can easily create items that will make you feel like the girl you feel you are inside

So. That's my post. I hope it was helpful to SOMEONE. lol.

Tutorial: How to make an easy, comfortable gaff + Fingerless gloves!

Hey guys!

So I just finished this pencil skirt that I've been working on. I'm gonna upload a tutorial on that later but first I wanted to make this post. I wanted to make this post because I know it was REALLY hard for me to find resources online on how to actually do this. The trans world can be really secretive. lol. So I posted this in hopes that other young girls wondering how to do it can now have a place to go if they wanted an easy way to tuck.

NOW, what's a gaff? Well a gaff is what a lot of transgendered women and drag queens wear to "tuck" their penis. Once I learned how to tuck, that really opened up my mind to so many differnt styles of clothing. Tucking is something I think every girl needs to learn. I've seen so many really complex things that are used for tucking, including a false vagina. But this is an easy, cheap and COMFORTABLE way to tuck.

What you'll need:
* 1 pair of sheer, black panty hose, the tighter the better.
* Scissors
*tight but comfortable panties.

Now, i've bee tucking for a while and it's sort of an uncomfortable thing to do at first. What tucking does is it pretty much just holds everything in place. Not only that but once you sit on your tuck, your "balls" will return to where they first dropped. lol. This is uncomfortable at first but you get used to it.! Nothing is worse than a bad tuck though. I've tired a lot of thing and this is a DREAM! It feels so much more comfortable.

Step one:
Grab your panty hose! Now i forgot how large these are exactally but I know they're pretty dam small. I've tried to wear them and girl, let me tell you, that is NOT a trip that you wanna take. lol. Far too tight. But tight is good for this because you dont want anything that's going to slip.

Lay them flat on the ground or something remotely flat.

Step 2

Take your scissors and measure down about, i'd say 3inches or so....now if you just happen to have a really large clitoris, you MAY want to cut a little further down.

After cut, this is what it looks like. :D

And NOW you're done with your gaff! Shit that was easy. It only took me about a minute to make hahaha. Took longer to take the pics.

Step 3

Now the HARD part . Putting it on. I'll try to make this as PC as possible. lol.

Basically, to put it on, start by simply stepping into it like a pair of pants. Pull it up half way. At this point stop pulling them up, Take your scrotum first and pull it back completely. The take the shaft of your penis ad pull it back so that it's in the center of your scrotum. While holding it in place with one hand, use the other hand to pull up the gaff. Using the excess on the leg part of the gaff (the 3 inches we cut), smooth the excess around the scrotum so that it is securely between your scrotum and your crotch.

When I have my gaff pulled up, it looks like this:

The gaff smooths out your waist and puts back the normal bulge that your penis would make.

Step 4.
Pull your panties up over it.

This pretty much secures the gaff. When buying panties, make sure to buy panties that have a wider crotch area. Brief style or low rise panties work the best for me.
If you dont know what size panties you wear here's a little chart.

Size Hip Pantsize

5/S 36-37 4-8
6/M 38-39 8-10
7/L 40-41 10-14
8/XL 42-43 14-16
9 44-45 16-18
10 46-47 18-20

Buying a tape measure really helps! You don't wanna buy panties that are too large. I personally wear a size 5/small.

So you're done! put on that skirt and enjoy!

You can wash the gaffs just like anything else! You MAY want to take some clear nail polish and run it along the edges of the gaff to prevent shredding.

NOW since sometimes i like to dress like a street fighter, I like to be resourceful and I use the legs that i cut off and I make some fingerless gloves. Also very simple.

Take the foot end of the hose and cut straight across

Cut cut cut
Then you should get this

Then you take your scissors and move down about 2 inches.

Cut out a small triangle

Then put your hand through the sleeve and put your thumb through the hole. This should widden the hole.

and BAM

You've got fingerless gloves. :D
These will probably shred so you've gotta really like that sorta look. lol. Good think i do. hahaa.

So there you have it! a gaff and a pair of fingerless gloves!

New Skirt! Just wingin' it!!

Sooooo. I decided to just WING it. and make my own skirt.

On a crazy thrusday night (well actually not really), i was running throug the art studios looking for something to do when i found a box that said Free on it. Inside, a copy of John Recy's 'Numbers', a good read and two little boy shirts!! One was a grey nike shirt and the other was a stripped navy and blue shirt. I INSTANTLY thougt, skirt!

I have the habbit of FINDING clothing and doing stuff with it. haha. I've found a couple of thsirts and even a pair of jeans that fit me like a glove. haha. I guess I'm trashy that way. lol.

So it started like this:

and after about...say 3 -5 hours, it ended up looking like:

In future blogs, I WILL take photos of my process and post them up! I think process photos are just like, amazing. lol.

I have an avatar date tonight and I'm totally gonna wear it. ahaha.

An introduction.

Hey guy's the name's Kit! I'm a 19 year old transgendered woman living in Valencia Califorina where I attend Art school! I made my decision to transition around March of last year. Currently, i've been going to school and living my life as the chick i feel I am inside.

Now, in making the decision to transition I came up with one major issue, clothes. What was I going to wear? I mean, girls have clothes, cute clothes! They wear them all the time and look great in them! hahah. I despised my boy clothes. I looked at them as a sign of my own self hatred and will to bend to what society wants me to be. I know that i am not a weak person that needs to live the way other people want me to live. I'm a strong woman that has been through a lot and I wanted my style to represent that.

I wanted to take my male clothing and turn it into something female. A sort of commentary on my life and my transition. I would take old opressive clothing and make it into something young and fun that i knew i would enjoy wearing. :) I like stripes and I like the whole concept of a pirate. I love adventure and I love women that aren't just this cookie cutter idea of what a woman should be. So I try to make my style echo that. I took one of my favorite boy shirts:

Look at it, wrinkled and boring. I hate it. A friend of mine made a very telling comment about this shirt. He told me that in highschool, my clothes always looked weird. like there was just something wrong. Something akward. Something that wasn't right. Now i look so much better and i feel so much better. :)

I made that boy shirt into something rather girly. To this day this is my favorite shirt of all. :) I love the way it fits me and it gives me just the right amount of cleavage. :)

being raised male, it's hard to get over sorta these tabboos that you're always told to avoid when you're a boy. Boys dont wear short shorts, expose their chest or wear skirts or dresses. It was har for me to get over those mental blocks but now i don't feel any shame. I know it's because i'm finally living my life the way I want to live it. And I'm happy!

I am a DiYer. I make my own clothes. I take the old and make it new. I love to cut up an old shirt. It's so liberating and I feel like Im so much stronger for doing it! I'm really glad i let go and just started living life. Now i'm living the life of a DiY Trany and I'm lovin' it. :)
